Features

  • Smooth, rounded integral bushings in hubs protect conductor insulation
  • Accurately tapped, tapered threads for tight, rigid joints and excellent ground continuity
  • Roomy interiors provide more wiring space
  • Available in three inside depths: 1-1/2’, 2-1/4’ and 3’
  • Furnished with four tapped holes and two close-up plugs. Boss in rear of box allows for fifth entry, factory or field entries, 1/2’ or 3/4’

  • BKX junction boxes are dust-ignitionproof when supplied for Class II, Division 1 applications. Suitable for use in grain elevators, flour mills and other environments where dust presents a hazard
  • Cushion fixture hangers are enclosed and Gasketed
  • Can be fitted with terminal block. For a factory installed terminal block, add suffix -CB to catalog number

Standard Materials and Finishes
Boxes are available in gray iron and aluminum. Covers are available in cast gray iron, cast aluminum, sheet steel or sheet aluminum. All boxes and covers have a triple-coat finish (1) zinc electroplate, (2) chromate, and (3) epoxy powder coat finish.
